This is the place I come to put the poetry that is my life to pen. For those of you that are artistically challenged "my poetry page".
I have an affection for the man of lamancha (if I could only find my squire I would fight the dragon, to hell with it I will fight the dragon anyway).

VRD (LOOK! There, the dragon that is my foe) poem
insert poem about OVRS in this slot.
Beast in my land (part #1)
Standing in the face of ungodly tyranny knowing promised rights longing to be free
I put my liberty as risk for chains are not meant for me now I rally my pen for the authority must see
To be an affliction to the afflicted this I cannot stand and view
The poor and the addicted need our protection, yes me and you
You see our government has gotten completely out of hand
Creating criminals because we grow what we want upon the land
Imposing ungodly taxes charging ungodly fee and fine
Keeping the people burdened and distracted all the time
Passing law upon law meant to confuse, baffle and restrain
So that the people will not see their shackle, ball and chain
The preachers fear to preach about the coming of this beast
It sits in authority and on your rights and children will it feast
Oh but understand it’s destruction will by no means stop there
For under the weight of this velvet glove your grandchildren will fair
You see when the law acts lawlessly and under the direction of a corporate cause
The subjugation of the People are in its teeth and in its clause
The design of our enemy is to use the People against each other
Instead of our Creators will accepting each other as brother
So each of us must pick a place and stand alone or in great number
And attack the mammoth beast while it still awakes from its slumber
Take everything to the Jury so that the People might be able to see
The lawyers and judges are all in on it, keeping the People from being free
Our elected and sworn officials our rights in hand do they hold
Are playing a game of three card monty all jokers do they fold
The police are bigoted against the poor, the young and the addicted
In the temples of their thoughts to evil their actions are restricted
All their kind words spoken are only used to solicit a reaction
So as to use the simple and the sick to give their cases traction
No longer is peace on the mind of the king that now is law
Injustice, rape and murder when I looked in his eyes is all I saw
So as a man of conscience I find that I must take a stand
And put my flesh at risk with mine own Constitution in my hand
Beast in my land (part #2)
The injustice of oppression will drive one to drink liquor and more
To seek solace in pipe or sirynge to be found lying on the floor
Ones need to escape comes from fear or pain deep within
Our Creator made us to be strong not fearing of other men
Our youth today walk burdened, not free once like you or I
Always asked for their I.D. no trust early taught the lie
Give up your right to privacy for securities own sake
My rights are not negotiable I feel the constricting of the snake
Yes the serpent is upon us set to swallow the U.S. whole
No longer do our leaders lead, did you see the numbers on that poll
With pundits on the news telling us what they want things to mean
And judges on the bench their revenue generation is not clean
With this set before them our kids have less a chance
To go find simple happiness under the threat of their lance
But the threat is ever present trying to make us all live in fear
Who will they require next you or someone you hold dear
Making criminals for things with no victims to testify
Telling the people they have no defense is yet another lie
Giving juries instructions bias against you and for the state
The court pushes to use counsel in a lawyers hands we trust our fate
Those are the guys that got us here so far from our rights
They will all be like roaches when we all turn on our lights
I guess maybe chains are fit for those that lick the boot
But as for me I can not live in peace where tyranny has taken root
So here I will make my stand my sword dripping with sharp ink
I will tell them they are wrong I will tell them of the stink
You see I have a son that I intend to see live free
So about these things do I write that he may have liberty
No longer will I acquiesce to the vain will of any man
I will write of eternal truth even after it’s received it’s ban
Not by bullet, not by bomb will the truth find restrain
Not by stocks, not by scurge not by threat of great pain
For the truth he walks among us in the rights He gave each man
Liberty and responsibility are mates they both go hand in hand
Remember brother as you fight to beware of the Boggs
He will suck you in and slow you down to see you sleeping with the dogs
Set your eyes upon the goal Liberty and Justice for all
This great nation needs your defense for she is putting out the call
